Hello! I'm Shakirul. A full-time software engineer by trade. And on the side, I do whatever strikes my fancy, like right now, writing Montu Mia's story.
Why this 'Montu Mia'?
A big chunk of my day goes into the frontend wizardry of React/Next.js and the backend sorcery of Python/Rust. Working in the field, I noticed that heavy topics like system design and architecture scare a lot of people off. So I set out to take the hard stuff and make it as easy and casual as chatting in your living room, instead of treating it like some alien language. 'Montu Mia' is what grew out of that.
Personal life
These days I'm based in Sylhet, Bangladesh's tea-green city of hills, rain, and old shrines. Between coding sessions I travel a bit here and there, and through Montu Mia I cook up fresh technical stories for you!
